Tasks include, depending on the department's current goals:
- Lead projects affecting every aspect of the ground operations with the support of a Project Manager. Examples of projects are turnarounds analysis, PAX handling efficiency, Aircraft Cleaning procedures, Lean Management of ground handling, Safety & Compliance, financial analysis of ground handling activities.
- Understand the organization & the structure of an airline operator company
- Understand the constraints (timeline, budget, regulation) we are facing and propose creative solutions the counter them.
- Apply a project management methodology.
- Observe, analyze, define problematics and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Develop management & reporting tools.
Important skills:
- Fluent English is an absolute requirement as it is the working language. French and Dutch are an asset.
- Master student in Business Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering of Management Science is an asset.
- Open and communicative personality is an asset.
- You would be based in BRU, but would sometimes require to visit other stations within EU.

The intern can expect to learn about the position of tourism and aviation in the international and European policy environment, will have the chance to engage with policy stakeholders and decision makers on EU and international level, and will learn about the political challenges and opportunities for the tourism and aviation sector
