Liaison Engineer – Wide Body Fleet

TUI fly’s engineering department (the only aircraft operator in Belgium also holding an EASA Part-21 Design Organisation Approval) is responsible for the technical follow-up of our fleet, (the fleet currently consists of 34 aircraft: Boeing 767, Boeing 737MAX, Boeing 787, Boeing 737NG & Embraer 190) and is the engineering center of excellence for the B737MAX fleet within the TUI Group. In view of our strong growth ambitions we are looking for new colleagues to reinforce the engineering department.
As Liaison Engineer – Wide Body Fleet you will be responsible to co-ordinate the oversight on the continuing airworthiness tasks subcontracted to the TUI 767/787 engineering center of excellence for the TUI Airlines Belgium fleet.
What you will be doing
- Actively review and endorse the recommendations prepared by the TUI 767/787 engineering center of excellence:
- Airworthiness Directives
- Service Bulletins and modifications
- Maintenance Program
- …
- Check the correct execution of the 767/787 Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Agreement and corresponding interface procedures with the TUI 767/787 engineering center of excellence. Provide advice for possible improvements
- Participate in the TUI group 767/787 Reliability Control Board
- Support the Airworthiness Review staff with the ARC extensions and renewals for the widebody fleet by compiling the ARC extension/renewal data package and coordinating the rectification of possible findings with the TUI 767/787 engineering center of excellence.
- Co-ordinate all engineering activities on the 767/787 fleet with other departments (maintenance, flight operations, fleet management, …)
- undertake any other reasonable tasks as and when required by the business
Are you the smile we need ?
- You have a bachelor or master degree in Aeronautics (or equal through experience)
- You have 5 years experience in a CAMO organisation
- You have good knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145 regulations
- You have excellent communication skills and can coordinate activities across departments
- You are cost-conscious, proactive and accurate
- You are independent, flexible and have a solution-oriented approach to work
- You have an excellent command of the English language
- You are open for travelling
- Working in an international environment and with multi-cultural teams
