What will you be doing?
As a Maintenance Planning Coordinator you are responsible for the planning, control, coordination and follow-up of all planned and unplanned maintenance works on the fleet of TUI fly and of external customers.
- You are responsible for the optimisation of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities in the long and the short term within the context of the commercial flight programme. For that purpose you work closely together with the divisions responsible for flight operations and Part-M.
- You develop the planned maintenance packages, taking into account the availability of the parts, resources and people required to perform the planned activities. You report in time when extra resources are needed and you share your feedback with respect to ways to further improve the efficiency of our maintenance planning.
- You are responsible for the staffing in our network and actively communicate with the teams with respect to future projects and related shift changes. You discuss the order of the scheduled tasks within a work package in advance and supervise the performance of these tasks in consultation with the customer, if necessary.
- You check the corresponding AMOS applications and thus manage staffing and all scheduled maintenance works. You feedback is important for the optimisation of the daily flight schedule and the downtime needed for maintenance.
Are you the smile we are looking for?
- You have at least 5 years' experience in the aviation sector or in a similar position
- A valid Part 66 licence is an asset
- You preferably have been an accredited type B1/B2 engineer for 5 years
- You are able to efficiently assess opportunities and risks in complex situations
- You are solution-oriented and have a creative business mindset
- You have strong organisational skills and communicate easily, both orally and in writing
- You have good knowledge of the applicable requirements of the regulatory authorities
- You are familiar with technical publications and procedure manuals
- You can handle a computer and MS Office and are good at administrative tasks
- You have a good command of spoken and written English in a technical or everyday context and have basic knowledge of French
- You are trained in the field of human factors
- You are flexible and prepared to follow up on projects outside the normal working week.
